The Festival features a wide variety of music - including traditional folk, bluegrass, Celtic, blues, with an impressive line-up of performers from all over Australia. More than 20 venues operate over the four day weekend - including pubs, churches, cafes and halls. Tarrangower Reserve, at the foot of Mount Tarrangower is the renowned heart of the festival with four major venues. The Tarrangower Wine Tent features quality, listening performances of Music, Song, Theatre and the Spoken Word. The Maldon Folk Festival has a unique friendly atmosphere that appeals to all ages. There are also ample opportunities for chalkboard sets, street performances and sessions.
